Fantastic Services recently commissioned a survey to find out the most popular places British people have… ahem… gotten “down and dirty.” The Daily Star took an interest in our research, and published an article about the results.
And those results were certainly a bit of an eyebrow raiser! But it was really the difference in attitudes between what people would put up when indulging in a little physical activity outside rather than inside that really caught our interest as cleaners.
The Daily Star is no stranger to running slightly racier stories than even its many tabloid contemporaries. So we weren’t exactly shocked that they expressed an interest in the results of our survey!
How to Keep a Partner
A not unexpected side-effect of our survey were results that show you just how important cleanliness is to many people when they say what they’re looking for in a partner.
A willingness to get amorous with someone in the many dirty possible locations offered by the great outdoors doesn’t always translate into being happy to snuggle up in a partner’s filthy home!
So, if you’re looking to keep your partner happy:
- Keep your kitchen and front room tidy – make a great first impression on that first dinner date with a kitchen and front room that can withstand a casual inspection.
- Keep your bedroom tidy and clean – piles of dirty clothes and old underwear aren’t a turn on for many people! Nor are dirty beds or mattresses.
- The bathroom is a particular sore spot – rising rent prices and increasing numbers of people living in shared houses in London mean bathrooms can be a real danger spot. Make sure your bathroom doesn’t put off potential partners!
See Places People Said They Had Sex in Public
95% of the people we surveyed said that a dirty home would put them off a potential partner. But where were they happy to actually get some dirt in their lives?
