Congratulations! You’ve survived another April Fools Day. A day dedicated to pranks and general silliness. Not wanting to miss out on the fun, Fantastic Services announced a trick of their own! A new ‘click for a cleaner’ service. Our friends, over at West London Living and Product Hunt, even got in on the joke and featured the ‘new’ service on their websites.
We told our customers that we’d launched a new app update in our GoFantastic mobile app that lets them arrange a cleaner at home, with the snap of their fingers. The new ‘click for a cleaner service’ was promoted as a sound response feature. The first of its kind and guaranteeing that a cleaner would arrive at your place within 15 minutes of clicking your fingers – no questions asked.
How was it supposed to work? Your smartphone recognizes the snap of your fingers and reacts to the sound. When the cleaner arrives at your property, you can choose the length of your clean, and advise on the jobs that need doing. We even advised that the app will be updated to respond to a hop for a handyman, a growl for a gardener and a whistle for a dog walker.
