Love is a four-legged word – GIFT.
Hands up if you speak to your pets when no one is around. Ok, what about if you buy them little gifts when it’s their birthday or it’s Christmas? These days, owners treat their pets like any other part of the family. So, it won’t come as a big surprise to know that according to a survey by Fantastic Services, featured in The Express Online and The Daily Express, an estimated £90 billion was likely to be spent on our pets at Christmas time. Were you one of them?
There’s a huge range of gifts out there with everything from pet stockings to pet festive jumpers and pet advent calendars. But the question is, do our pets actually know it’s Christmas time? Do they really appreciate the premium pet food or special Santa outfit? Probably not, but does it really matter? Nothing quite beats the unconditional love of a pet and that’s the best thing about having one. And gift giving in itself can make you feel good!
So, giving gifts to your beloved pet doesn’t make you crazy, it’s actually pretty normal!
