Good deeds begin at home and this month Fantastic Services made the news again for lending a helping hand to a mum in need. We were featured in the Warrington Guardian coming to the rescue of Anne Nunn, mother-of- two who was having problems with an out-of-control garden. She described the garden as a serious health hazard to her and her family. Unfortunately, it was in such terrible condition that her children were unable to play outside for fear of injury.
This is where we came to the rescue! Fantastic Services agreed to carry out the work required and provided Anne with a gardening maintenance voucher with a value of £100! Our Fantastic Gardeners, removed the weeds, chopped and tidied the grass, sculptured her ivy and even cleaned her patio. During the work they mowed the grass six times to ensure it was in ‘perfect’ condition. She thanked us for rescuing her deteriorating garden free of charge.
Anne has said that the best part of the garden rescue was her children being able to play outside again. She told the Warrington Guardian that we did “a fantastic job and the garden is now usable.” She also said that our “team were on time and very polite throughout the work. It is nice to be able to look at the garden now and go out there, I am really grateful.”
It’s really important that Fantastic Services are part of the community and support the people who live in them. Helping others make their homes better and safer places to live is something that we are lucky enough to be part of. We’d like to wish Anne all the best and hope she enjoys every minute of her newly rescued garden.
