Meet the Pros: Tsvetomir Ganchev

If seasons were painters, autumn would qualify as the most flamboyant one. Just have a peek through your window – it’s very likely that your garden is now engulfed in transient red, orange, and brown colours, bringing a certain sense of cosiness and a pinch of nostalgia to the whole scene. So, we could not think of a better time to introduce you to Tsvetomir Ganchev – a Fantastic partner whose landscaping skills can easily rival those of the best painters in the field. He’s been working with us for over four years, while UK’s been his home for around six. Today, Tsvetomir runs a team of five people who do various gardening jobs, including this area’s jewel in the crown – landscaping.

We asked Tsvetomir a few questions about his work with Fantastic Services:

I learned about the company through another partner of Fantastic – Alexander. At this time, I was working at a strawberry farm and was gradually getting accustomed to the way of living there. But as time went by, I managed to become a standalone franchisee, working for myself, my team, and with Fantastic Services.

The fantastic thing about this partnership is the fact that every task gets done from start to finish. After all, the client’s satisfaction always comes first and I am glad to see that this goal is something everyone here aims to achieve.

If I had to pick an all-time favourite job moment, it would definitely be the one when a client decides to make us a cup of tea or coffee. Just the sheer appreciation of our hard work and the customer’s courteous smile is more than enough to turn any unpleasant day into a real treat at the snap of a finger. Such moments are truly magical and I feel blessed for experiencing them almost every single day.

Tsvetomir also shared a few details about his work experience and gave some advice to the newcomers:

Anyone who wishes to partner with an established brand needs to work with even more vigour than before. Because it’s only by outperforming the current franchisees that you’ll make some actual progress. Knowing that and taking your time to perfect every detail will allow you to weed out the incompetent partners and make negligence a temporary phenomenon.

The thing that changed my daily routine for the better was BFantastic – an app that helps us put our daily client schedule in order. And the latter is something I never thought I was going to admit, especially since I wasn’t feeling all that enthusiastic about the app in the beginning. But, as with everything new, this app may take some time of getting used to until I can fully implement it on a daily basis. What really surprises me about it, though, is that this app can really bring a whole new level of comfort and serenity to an otherwise stressful profession. For instance, by communicating with my client directly I don’t have to constantly await a call from the office just to run a few errands. It’s funny how a small thing like this app can put my scepticism to rest and, at the same time, give me an easier time of getting in touch with my customers.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much free time to speak of, constantly juggling between my team and my upcoming tasks. Just now, I sacrificed my small window of free time examining the weekly report (he chuckles). On a more positive note, no matter how dark and gloomy the day may be (and it usually is, it’s London weather we speak of), all clouds disperse as soon as I start tackling my busy gardening schedule. Besides, I do manage to squeeze some “me” time during the winter, when most gardens usually fall asleep. And while I enjoy the thrills that gardening has on offer, I equally value this small break because I get to spend it with my friends and family. This, in turn, gives me all the energy I need to keep doing what I do best.

Fantastic Services would like to thank Tsvetomir for his hard work and for finding the time to make this interview happen.
