How much does pressure washing cost in the UK?

On average, the pressure washing cost for a small driveway is £50, whereas for larger jobs, for example – a 50m² patio, you can expect to pay around £150.

Jet washing prices are calculated, depending on the size of the area, and below we’ll help you with the exact way of how to measure it to get the right calculations.

We charge £3 per square metre with a minimum charge of £50 for 20 sq.m. This means that any surface smaller than 20 sq.m. will be charged £50.

How to measure the area and estimate your jet washing cost?

To find the square footage, measure the length and width of the area in metres and multiply the two numbers together. A laser distance measure works best, but you can use measure tape if you don’t have one. Once you calculate the area in square metres, multiply the number by whatever the price per square metre is. 

Here’s an example:

Let’s say your driveway is 10 meters in length and 5 meters in width. The square footage of that area is 10 x 5 = 50m². Now, let’s assume the rate for jet washing service is £3 per square meter. When you multiply your square footage by the service rate, you get a total of £150. This is the amount you’ll have to pay.

Surface condition

In addition, factors like the condition of your driveway or patio may also play a role in the price formation. An area that is badly affected by algae or full of weedlings, or a wall covered in hard-to-remove graffiti, may cost a bit more to wash, of course.
